A retelling of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Snow Queen, Frozen follows the fearless princess Anna (Kristen Bell) as she goes in search of her estranged sister, Elsa AKA the Snow Queen (Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. It’s getting overwhelmingly positive reviews—as well it should, because it is wonderful. Also, who doesn’t love Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel?
Anyhoo, I discovered the other day that Virgins Saints & Angels has released an absolutely GORGEOUS jewelry line inspired by the film—and I want ALL OF IT. Seriously. These aren’t your tacky little $15 souvenir necklaces; these are beautifully wrought pieces of art full of precious metals and sparkling jewels worthy of the Snow Queen herself. Accordingly, they’re a little pricey—the necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings range from $139.20 to $384—but for shiny little somethings like these? Totally worth it.
